Why AML exists
Anti-money-laundering checks are a legal requirement for anyone facilitating a property sale in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. They protect both sides of the transaction.
What you'll need
- Photo ID — passport or driving licence
- Proof of address dated within three months
- Evidence of your authority to sell, if you are not the sole owner
How long it takes
Most checks clear the same working day. Viewing requests are released to you as soon as your AML status shows Approved.
Thinking of selling?
List your island home with Harry and pay 0.5% on completion — roughly a third of a typical high-street agent fee.
